Join artist, Helen Ridley, to create a series of botanical illustrations – all studied from life! You’ll be inspired by Midrib’s curated range of tropical plants and seasonal foliage to produce your original work.
What will I do during the workshop?
You'll be guided through the artistic process in this small group workshop. You'll explore stylised compositions of plants and foliage and be encouraged to exploit a wide variety of media throughout (such as watercolour, ink, pastels and pen). You’ll experiment with mark-making, and work towards a larger final piece of work to take away.
What is included and who is the workshop for?
All materials are included. No experience or prior knowledge is necessary, the workshop is suitable for 16+ years. Workshops last approximately 90minutes. Cost of the workshop is per person.
Covid-safe
We operate our workshops in a Covid-secure manner. Masks are a personal choice, participants will be encouraged to sanitise their hands during the workshop. We will be seated together around one large table.

Due to shortages caused by Brexit/Covid, materials are subject to availability and therefore may vary from those described. We promise the workshop will still be highly creative should any substitution be made!
Cancellations
Cancellations to workshop bookings may be made up to one week in advance of your workshop date. After this time, any cancelled bookings will be forfeited.
