Join Midrib Plants founder to design and create your own unique, sealed terrarium. Once established, corked terrariums will self-water within their own miniature eco-system!

What will I do during the workshop?

You'll be guided through the terrarium making process in this small group workshop, with a relaxed atmosphere. To create the landscape in your living bottle garden you’ll use a little apothecary bottle or large recycled glass (subject to your booking), an array of miniature plants and living moss, as well as decorative pebbles, terrarium tools and all the ingredients to create an enriched layered substrate. You'll also learn about the history and practice of growing plants under glass.

What is included and who is the workshop for?

All equipment is included, however as terrarium making can be messy we recommend wearing suitable clothing or to bring an apron! No experience or prior knowledge is necessary, the workshop is suitable for 16+ years. Workshops last approximately 90 minutes. Cost of the workshop is per person.

We operate our workshops in a Covid-secure manner. Masks are a personal choice, participants will be encouraged to sanitise their hands during the workshop. We will be seated together around one large table

Please note

Glass shapes & styles are subject to availability. We promise it will still be beautiful should any substitution be made!

Cancellations to workshop bookings may be made up to one week in advance of your workshop date. After this time, any cancelled bookings will be forfeited.
